How Clinics Are Selected
We list dental clinics in Bali that meet all of the following criteria:
- The clinic has a verified Google Maps listing with reviews
- The clinic provides dental services (not just general medical care)
- The clinic serves English-speaking international patients
- The clinic has a physical location in Bali that can be visited
Our default rankings use verified Google ratings, review volume, and data completeness. Sponsored placements are clearly labeled. No clinic can pay to be removed from the directory. If a clinic requests removal, we comply immediately.
How Prices Are Verified
All prices on Best Dentist Bali are sourced directly from each clinic's official website. We never copy prices from third-party aggregators, travel blogs, or other directories.
Our verification process:
- We visit each clinic's website and locate their published price list
- We record prices in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) exactly as published
- We note the source URL for internal records
- We display "Prices verified [month/year]" on every price listing
Clinics that do not publish prices on their website are listed with "Contact for pricing" instead of estimated figures.
Price accuracy commitment: We re-verify prices against clinic websites regularly. If a clinic updates their prices between our verification cycles, there may be a temporary discrepancy. Always confirm current pricing directly with the clinic before committing to treatment.
How Ratings Are Sourced
Star ratings and review counts displayed on Best Dentist Bali come from Google Maps. We do not generate, edit, or influence these ratings. The rating you see on our site matches what you would find by searching for the clinic on Google Maps. We update ratings regularly during our standard data verification cycle.
How Currency Conversions Work
Prices are stored in IDR (Indonesian Rupiah) and converted to your selected currency using live exchange rates from a third-party API. Converted prices (AUD, SGD) are approximate. The actual cost in your home currency depends on the exchange rate at the time of payment and your bank's conversion fees.
What "Listed" Means on This Platform
Being listed on Best Dentist Bali means:
- We have verified the clinic exists on Google Maps
- We have sourced their prices from their official website (where available)
- We display their Google rating and review count accurately
Being listed does NOT mean:
- We endorse or recommend the clinic
- We have personally visited the clinic
- We guarantee the quality of treatment
- We verify clinical outcomes or patient satisfaction beyond Google reviews
How to Report Errors
If you notice incorrect information on any listing (wrong price, outdated hours, closed clinic, wrong address), please let us know through our contact form. We investigate and correct reported errors as soon as possible.
Update Schedule
- Prices: Re-verified regularly against clinic websites or directly with clinics
- Ratings and reviews: Updated regularly from Google Maps
- Addresses and hours: Re-verified annually or when reported as incorrect
- New clinics: Added on an ongoing basis as we discover eligible clinics
